All Things Hold Together

This is a picture of a wire tree sculpture I made for my husband to keep on his desk at work. It is made out of 21 gauge paddle wire.

I learned how to do it from a book by wire artist Sal Villano. He creates beautiful wire trees, which you can view at http://www.salvillano.com/.

Before I started homeschooling, I had planned to make wire sculptures and sell them on the internet. That never materialized, but I still like to make them as gifts for people.

I am excited to start a new blog about crafting. I hope to start a blog with the boys about what we do for homeschooling, but I can only do one thing at a time. (Actually, two. I have a political blog, too.)

Nothing exciting here. I just wanted to write my first post!
