Today we had a visitor on our back porch. Big E took this picture with his VCam Now that he got for his birthday last year from a relative.
Our little friend ate the sunflower seeds out of our bird feeder (and left the rest). Then we put out the sunflower head we had from our garden. He had a feast. He stayed for over an hour and even came back for more later!
I have a feeling we are going to see a lot more of him.
Yeah, now he’ll expect that kind of ‘five star’ treatment every day!
I know. I hope he’ll settle for cheap bird food, though!
Funny, thing, though… my best friend “acquired” a squirrel last Monday by throwing a handful of peanuts on her back patio for it. Now it’s coming up to the glass doors and waiting for more! Guess she’s in the same boat, now. =)
This little guy has been back to our porch every day since this post. He stays for quite a while, too. It’s really fun to sit at the table and watch him out the window.
