With the new snow outside, the kids do not want to do any crafts! All they want to do is play in the snow. Until the novelty wears off, I thought I would post a mama craft.
I made this scarf for Little E.
The pattern is fairly simple. I am by no means a crocheting pro.
Using a worsted weight yarn (I used a baby yarn for softness), chain a multiple of three for how long you want your scarf to be.
Row 1: 2 dc in 3rd ch from hook, *skip 2 ch, 1 sc and 2 dc in next ch; rep from * across, ending with skip 2 ch, 1 sc in last ch. Ch 2, turn.
Row 2: 2 dc in first sc, * skip 2 dc, 1 sc and 2 dc in next sc; rep from *, ending with 1 sc in top of t-ch. Ch 2, turn. Rep row 2 until desired width. Fasten off. Add fringe if desired.
I used a size J hook.
Here is the close-up:
I’ll be back with more kids crafts later! As you can see, the snow is not going to sustain too long.

Beautiful work! I just finished knitting a baby blanket that I started in order to take my baby home from the hospital. After I delivered her and brought her home, I jokingly said we needed to get started on number four because I missed that deadline.
So I did finally finish it, and number four is due in April!
I love your crafts and will be back later to look at more!
Thanks for stopping by!
