Sort of anyway. There’s some text here too, so it is not strictly photo-blogging.
Well, we are off for the weekend to see Bob’s family – again! This time, it is for a joyous occasion. My parents-in-law will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary.
I am grateful to have married into a family with lasting marriages. Bob’s parents have been married for 40 years. His mother’s parents were married 63 years, until his grandfather passed away last week. And his father’s parents were also married ’til death did part them.
I made a Mocha Mousse Cake last night for the party. Note: Neither mocha mousse, nor chocolate whipped cream frosting like hot, humid kitchens. I had to put the cake in the freezer to keep the top layers from slipping off!
Anyway, since we have a ton to do today, I am just going to post a picture I took of the moonflower on my porch last night and call it a day.
