Funny because I did as a kid. I gave it up after studying it out on my own accord. As my kids have gotten older, though (they still complain like yours do - but aren't the least bit scared any more) they see the value in our abstinence. We do dress up other times of the year with our unit studies. We also take advantage of the peanutbutter kisses that you can ONLY buy this time of year at the grocery store!
